Burping Baby

Try This if Burping Not Working

Nes had a few problems burping her daughter early on and her maternal nurse gave her the following piece of parenting advice.

When you nurse or bottle feed your baby, not only is milk swallowed, but a fair amount of air. The swallowed air can make your baby feel very full before finishing. Burping your baby is a very important part of the feeding process. If you are nursing, you should burp your baby every five minutes or at least between each breastfeeding. If you bottle feed your baby, you should take the time to burp your baby every couple of ounces. Burping baby gets rid of the air trapped in the stomach.

When burping, make sure to use a burp cloth or towel to catch the stuff other than air that comes up with it...
